The Directors Jake Greenspan and Tim Bleecker, the founders and co-directors of The Floortime Center™, were directly trained and mentored by Dr. Stanley Greenspan for over 10 years. Since 2004 they have
worked with over 1000 families, and have presented 1 to 4 day workshops for dozens of health and educational organizations.

Jake Greenspan, a graduate of Kenyon College, started working with his father, Dr. Stanley Greenspan in 1998. Together they authored the Functional Emotional Developmental Questionnaire which was published in the Journal of Developmental and Learning Disorders, 2002. He also worked with many of Dr. Greenspan's colleagues, specifically
in the areas of visual spatial, motor, and social skills, as well as
Interactive Metronome training. His work included teaching 6th, 7th,
and 8th grade at a school specializing in learning differences. During
this time he also worked with children with a range of developmental
and learning challenges using Floortime. Since 1998 Jake worked with Dr. Greenspan, present
workshops on the DIR/Floortime model, and help families as the co-director
of The Floortime Center. In 2009 Jake was the co-author, with Dr Stanley Greenspan, of Overcoming ADHD: Helping Your Child Become Calm, Engaged, and Focused. He is currently sitting as Chairman of the Board for All The Difference Inc., a DIR/Floortime non-profit in Wilmington DE, is a Founding Member of Creative Minds Public Charter School, and is a Board Member for Autism in Brief.

Tim Bleecker,
a graduate of Kenyon College and is
currently a PhD candidate in the Infancy and Early Childhood Mental Health and
Development Disorders Program. For over a decade Tim has worked with Dr.
Stanley Greenspan and his colleagues. He was fortunate to have seven years of personal
mentorship by Dr. Greenspan in areas such as emotional development, family
dynamics and intervention. He has also been trained by specialist in
occupational, speech and visual/spatial therapy. He has worked with many
families and children with a wide range of developmental and learning
challenges using the Floortime approach. Tim has a passion for the Floortime
model and enjoys seeing the growth the children and families make using this
wonderful approach.

Katherine Judge M.S. OTR/L has a Bachelor of Health Science and a Masters of
Science degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. She has worked
at The Floortime Center since 2008. Katie has participated in the Handwriting
Without Tears workshop and developed a camp based on this program and Floortime.
She has presented at the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
conferences, speaking about Floortime and presenting about a current research
project with social groups and Floortime.

Eleanor Ham MS OTR/L received her BA in psychological brain science with an
emphasis in natural science from the University of Louisville in 2002. In 2005,
she earned her MS and Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in occupational therapy
with an additional interdisciplinary early childhood education birth to primary
certificate from Eastern Kentucky University. While in graduate school,
Ellie completed clinical internships in adult orthopedics at the HealthSouth
Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama, and the C.P.
KIDS Center in Louisville, Kentucky. She trained with Zoe Mailloux, and
became SIPT certified through Western Psychological Services and the University
of Southern California in October 2006. Ellie has worked in a variety of
pediatric settings including out-patient, early intervention, school-based, and
aquatic therapy. Throughout her career Ellie has presented on a variety
of pediatric topics to student, parent, and professional groups both at the
state and national level. Ellie has received intensive training in
DIR/Floortime, as well as the iLs auditory program, the Wilbarger protocol, and
the S.O.S. feeding approach. Currently, Ellie is pursuing her clinical
doctorate in occupational therapy through Temple University in
Philadelphia.

Danielle Polifroni MPS, ATR-BC, LCAT is a registered, Board Certified, New York State licensed art therapist
with several years of experience in working with children on the autistic
spectrum and other developmental delays. She received her BA from Muhlenberg
College in 2004, and her MPS in Art Therapy from the School of Visual Arts in
2008. Danielle worked at the Rebecca
School, a leading DIR school in New York City, conducting
DIR/Floortime based art therapy groups and individual sessions with students of
varying ages and developmental levels, as well as running therapeutic groups
for staff. Additionally, she coordinated and
implemented individual treatment plans with multidisciplinary teams in order to
most effectively meet each child’s unique needs.

Lindsay
Zyma, MS OTR/L received a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Masters of Science degree from
Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2008. She started our her occupational therapy
career in the Model Asperger Program at Ivymount School and has 3 years of
experience providing services in the educational setting. She enjoys being a part of a collaborative
team and has experience providing educational trainings to staff, parents and
other related professionals. Lindsay recently joined The Floortime Center in 2011 and is very excited to be a part of such a
dynamic, fun and creative team of professionals.
